Sigurdsson will undergo a medical on Wednesday and if all goes well he will join summer signing Wayne Rooney and become the most expensive signing Everton have ever made.

Gylfi Sigurdsson scores a penalty for Swansea’s against Everton in 2016.

Supporters and Management will be relieved that the long running saga will be over and Paul Clement will have funds available to strenghten his squad.

The club will need to find a top goal scoring replacement for Sigurdsson, who scored 34 goals in the Premiership and created so much for the players around him.
