The game between Glamorgan and Surrey was abandoned at 7.30pm- an hour after the scheduled start- after heavy rain had fallen at The Swalec SSE throughout the day. Both teams gained a point, with Glamorgan remaining at the top of the Southern Group, ahead of Surrey who have an inferior run rate.
Glamorgan have now had four successive home games cancelled, and they will hope that the remaining two home games – against Gloucestershire and Middlesex- will go ahead. Their next game will be on Sunday against Kent at Canterbury, while Surrey play Sussex at Hove next Thursday.
